Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end marketing strategy and execution, including Events, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Content, Public Relations, Analyst Relations, Customer Marketing, and Partner Marketing.
- Refine and articulate Teal's positioning and messaging across the Physical AI and IoT ecosystem, translating complex and highly differentiated technical capabilities into narratives that resonate with enterprise buyers.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing and business development team that delivers repeatable, high-volume pipeline through a balanced mix of earned, owned, and paid channels.
- Design and execute go-to-market plans that directly contribute to pipeline, revenue, and customer expansion - with clear, measurable ROI at every stage.
- Continuously evaluate competitive dynamics and market trends to identify whitespace opportunities and sharpen Teal's brand differentiation.
- Serve as a strategic partner to Sales and Product, ensuring tight alignment on messaging, enablement materials, and campaign priorities.
- This is a public facing, roll up your sleeve's role! Our VP of Marketing should be a highly visible thought leader that is comfortable attending conferences, events, podcasts, webinars, panels, etc.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with a significant track record at enterprise software startups, Physical AI, connected ecosystem, or high-growth technology companies.
- A leadership style rooted in ownership, metrics-driven outcomes, utilizing data for decision making, and a bias for action
- Strong storytelling foundation with the ability to distill complex, technical concepts into clear, compelling stories for customers, salespeople, partners, and analysts.
- Demonstrated success scaling a marketing organization through rapid growth.
- Deep familiarity with the Physical AI and connected ecosystem; experience with telecommunications or eSIM a plus.
